8:30am - 11:30

You are cordially invited to attend the next meeting of the Florida AIS Security Representatives (FAISSR) Council. With the implementation of the new version of NISPOM Chapter 8 looming on the horizon, we will be presenting helpful information on how to meet the new requirements. An overview of the new FAISSR Master System Security Plan (SSP) will be presented.

In addition to the modifications required to be made to the plan, the New Chapter 8 has requirements for implementing technical security features when feasible. Come and learn what the various operating systems (e.g. Windows, NT, 2000, IRIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, VMS, MAC) are capable of and how to configure the required security features (authentication, session controls, audit).

John Edmiston, DSS AIS Specialist will address upcoming issues in the AIS Security arena.
