ESRI in Vienna, VA is searching for a Junior Facility Security Officer (FSO) to assist the Corporate Manager of Security in overseeing the implementation of the Department of Defense (DoD) National Industrial Security Program and interpreting the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Responsibilities will include: assisting Corporate Security in processing personnel security clearances and classified visit requests; managing classified material; conducting security briefings and security education programs; preparing and implementing information system security plans and policy; and providing oversight of the facility’s information systems used to process classified information.

Requirements: BA/BS in CIS, MIS or related field; 2+ years experience with Industrial Security; and successful completion of the following DSSA courses: Essentials of Industrial Security Management, Protecting Secret and Classified Documents, FSO Program Management, NISPOM Chapter 8 Requirements for Industry. Recent experience in a DoD or Government environment required. Knowledge of Automated Information Systems accreditation, including network configuration, preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
